TNC Pond Watchers Data 2002

On March 5, 2003, a forum on the preservation of Plymouth ponds was held at the Plymouth Public Library. The forum was sponsored by The Nature Conservancy and the Town of Plymouth.

Some of the data which had been collected in connection with the TNC Pond Watchers Program was presented at the meeting.

Halfway Pond was the only one of our Six Ponds included in this data, and it is important to note that the Phosphorus readings for Halfway Pond was all consistently above the critical level of .03. This again indicates the pond is in trouble.
